Brimstone Consulting Group recently developed an innovative program with the Switzerland-based International Air Transport Association (IATA) that focused on working across cultures.

As an article from Geneva’s Le Temps newspaper describes, Brimstone collaborated with IATA to develop a program that blends some of Brimstone's tried-and-true leadership development and project work methodologies with a strong cross-cultural awareness and training curriculum.

Named I-LEAD, for IATA Leadership Education and Development, the 100-day effort launched in Beijing, China in October 2007, with 10 leaders from the West joining 10 counterparts from the East to share cultural learnings with each other and select quick-cycle projects and project teams.

I-LEAD wrapped up in January 2008 in Montreux, Switzerland, where each project team shared key cross-cultural takeaways, organizational best practices and the results of their business projects, all of which promise to generate significant improvements in productivity and revenue generation.
