Tony Contakos — Managing Director

Tony Contakos, a Managing Director, has been with Brimstone Consulting Group, LLC since its founding. He has more than 30 years experience driving large-scale transformation through consulting engagements across a broad range of industries. Tony has primarily concentrated on developing high-performing teams with a focus on goal alignment, role clarity, assessment, action planning and teambuilding.

In recent years, Tony has facilitated numerous Performance Leadership, Leadership Engagement and Development (LEAD) and Leadership Forum programs. Tony delivers a variety of action learning-based programs for Brimstone, most of which combine leadership development opportunities for individuals with organizational alignment and strategic project team initiatives. Tony's work with Royal/Dutch Shell included architecting the transformational LEAP team, delivering cross-cultural teambuilding, designing an action learning center in Holland and coaching fastcycle project teams. Other recent clients include Western Union, Waste Management, Arrow Electronics, Jones Lang LaSalle, Georgia-Pacific, Ameritech and Harvard Business School.

Previously, Tony worked for the Professional Development Program of Outward Bound. He earned a BS in Business from American International College and his MBA from Western New England College. Tony enjoys sailing, rock climbing, Tae Kwon Do, travel and working on his owner-built home in rural Massachusetts. Tony lives in Ashfield, Massachusetts with his wife.
