
Chris Cooper — Senior Partner
Chris Cooper is a Senior Partner with Brimstone Consulting Group, LLC. His career has spanned over three decades of change leadership consulting. He has helped leaders and leadership teams of all kinds effect change through the development and implementation of new strategies, with a particular emphasis on the management of the change process itself. His work also includes the development and delivery of training programs and individual vocational counseling.
Chris has experience in the fields of government, health care, community development, association management, distribution, retail, manufacturing and construction, and has worked with organizations in Canada, the US and Europe. As a private consultant, his clients have included Baker Concrete, TNT Express, Canadian Electricity Association, CSSS la Pommeraie, Strategic Development Council of ACI, Center West Community Health Corporation, Montreal General Hospital, Department of Justice (Canada), Canada Post Corporation, and the Portland Cement Association.
Over the years he has headed his own firm, dedicated to strategic organizational change. Prior to that, Chris served as the leadership of regulatory and human resource groups as a partner at KPMG, a world leader in audit, tax and advisory services. He also has served as municipal mayor and préfet in Quebec Province.
He has published extensively on topics ranging from internal management consulting groups to the history of organizational behavior. He teaches "Leading Change" at McGill University.
Chris graduated from Cambridge University with an MA and a BA in Anthropology and Archeology. He is a Certified Management Consultant, Adm.a (Chartered Secretaries), Certified Human Resource Professional, and a professional member of the National Employment Counselors Association (USA). He works in both English and French, and lives in Montreal.
