Dyan Oakley Dyer — Managing Director

Dyan Dyer is a Managing Director with Brimstone Consulting Group, LLC. Leveraging her 12 years of management experience in health care, Dyan brings a unique combination of theory and practice to her work with Brimstone. She has conducted numerous Performance Leadership programs, provided Impact Coaching to several senior executives, and continues to design and deliver customized programs focused on driving business results and developing leaders.

Applying her broad understanding of organizational issues to her work with Brimstone, Dyan has led initiatives focused on strategy development, cultural change, organizational redesign, conflict management and cross-functional project teams. Recent clients include General Dynamics, Pfizer, 7-Eleven, Georgia-Pacific, Waste Management, IATA, Western Union and GTECH. Dyan's work has brought her to various countries throughout Europe and, most recently, to China.

Previously, Dyan was a private consultant, managing and facilitating teambuilding and organizational change efforts through experiential learning. Past clients include Arco Chemical, National Semiconductor, MBNA, L.L. Bean, Motorola, Viacom, and Champion International.

Dyan received her BS degree in Psychology from New York State University and her MS in Human Resources Development from the University of Southern Maine. For several years, Dyan taught Organizational Behavior in the Bath Iron Works Apprenticeship Program. She also periodically teaches Organizational Behavior at the University of Maine. Dyan is certified to teach the Leadership Effectiveness Analysis and other diagnostic tools developed by Management Research Group, the Myers Briggs Type Inventory and Wilson Social Styles. Dyan is an active community member and has several pro bono non-profit clients in the midcoast Maine area. Most of her time outside of work is spent outdoors—boating, skiing, hiking and gardening. Dyan currently resides in New Harbor, Maine with her husband.
