Catherine Hemmer — Senior Partner

Cathy Hemmer has been a Senior Partner with Brimstone Consulting Group, LLC since 2009. Cathy brings over 33 years experience working in Operations and IT, half of those years in VP and higher level positions.

Cathy is passionate about leadership development. Throughout her career, she personally created programs to develop leadership skills at all levels in the organizations for which she worked. This improved the bottom line results and ultimately led to the companies’ success. It is because of her belief in developing leaders that she decided to join Brimstone.

Cathy served as Senior Executive VP for Operations, Engineering, and Technology at twtelecom (formerly Time Warner Telecom), responsible for the company's National Operations Centers, which included customer care, service delivery, maintenance, network reliability, IP services, as well as field operations, Engineering, Information Technology and planning functions. Prior to that, Cathy was Executive VP and COO of Covad Communications, a broadband access company, and has held similar positions at QWEST (formerly US WEST) and Ameritech Corporation. Cathy’s telecom career in IT and Operations started at MCI Communications. Prior to that she held various IT positions in the New York and Chicago areas.

Cathy studied at New York and Illinois Community Colleges and graduated from the Executive Development Program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Cathy lives in the Denver area with her husband John and enjoys traveling, outdoor activities — bicycling and skiing, and spending time with their family.
