Michael Hornsby — Managing Director

Michael Hornsby is a Managing Director with Brimstone Consulting Group, LLC. He has more than 10 years experience coaching senior executives, building effective teams and supporting large-scale change initiatives. Over the past four years, Michael has spearheaded the expansion of Brimstone’s Leadership Forum offerings and facilitated numerous Performance Leadership and Leadership Engagement and Development (LEAD) programs.

A longtime expert in the action learning field, Michael has worked around the world helping to build high-performing cross-cultural teams through assessment, coaching, and innovative teambuilding activities. He specializes in advising newly appointed executives on the creation of organizational improvement plans and the identification and development of next-generation leaders. Recent clients include CSL Behring, Accredo, Medco Health Solutions, Arrow Electronics, Solectron Global Services, Jones Lang LaSalle, Royal Dutch/Shell, and Harvard Business School.

Previously, Michael worked as an international compensation analyst, an English teacher in the Czech Republic, and a program director in the travel industry. He has a BA in Political Science from Middlebury College, and is fluent in Dutch, French and German. Michael, his wife Hannah and daughter Georgia reside in Putney, Vermont.
