Michael Skaling — Senior Consultant

Michael Skaling is a Senior Consultant with Brimstone Consulting Group.

Michael has over 25 years experience leading change from the inside as well as external consulting across a broad range of industries: technology, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, transportation, healthcare, energy and environmental service. He has worked with IT, HR, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Sales, and Manufacturing leaders and teams.

His specialty lies in enabling clients to achieve technology and business transformation goals—on-time, on-budget, with maximum leader commitment and user adoption. Michael has worked in Fortune 500 corporations undergoing major business transformations, including International Paper, Waste Management, Johnson & Johnson, Covance, Tellabs and Western Union — redeŒfining their strategic directions, building effective leadership teams and leading Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives. His diverse background and direct consultative approach help clients negotiate complex changes from start to successful implementation.

Michael has a BA in Complex Organizations and Industrial Sociology from the University of Maine, Orono, and an MA in Organizational Behavior and Industrial Sociology from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Michael has several advanced certifications in Organizational Change Management, Leadership Coaching, Supply Chain ERP implementations, Leadership Judgment, Leadership Assessment and Human Resources (SPHR).

Michael resides in Camden, Maine with his wife Pat and enjoys hiking, biking, architecture, house construction and most of all, deep powder skiing in Utah and fly fishing in Alaska with his family.
