Robert P. WeilerFounding and Managing Partner

Bob Weiler founded Brimstone Consulting Group, LLC — a management consulting firm serving senior-level executives at Global 1000 companies — in 2001.

Prior to starting Brimstone, Bob spent five years as President and Chief Operating Officer of Grand Circle Travel (GCT), an industry leader in direct marketing of travel to mature Americans. During his tenure, through direct marketing and acquisitions, Bob doubled revenues and grew profits over 20% per year. Bob also founded Pinnacle Leadership and Teamwork Development, which merged with GCT and became the operating mechanism for developing leadership throughout the organization.

From 1990 to 1993, Bob served as Associate Director of the Global Leadership Program (GLP) at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. A consortium of Japanese, European, and North American multinationals, GLP was repeatedly cited by BusinessWeek as "the most innovative" executive development program in the country.

Before leading GLP, Bob was Executive Vice President of Hurricane Island Outward Bound School, the largest Outward Bound School in North America, where he was instrumental in adapting action learning techniques for use in corporate leadership development programs. Working with leadership expert Noel Tichy at General Electric's Crotonville training center, Bob designed key modules for developing high-performing teams and individuals inside GE.

Bob holds both BA and MA degrees from the University of Vermont. In addition to being a licensed U.S. Coast Guard captain and private pilot, he competed in the 1986 Hawaii Ironman World Championship and has participated in expeditions to Nepal and the Swiss Alps. Bob lives in Camden, Maine, with his wife and two daughters.
