Michael brings over twenty-five years of experience leading change from inside an organization and as an external consultant. He has worked across a broad range of industries—technology, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, transportation, healthcare, energy and environmental service, and several public sector engagements—in functional areas that include IT, HR, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Sales, and Manufacturing. As a member of the Brimstone team, Michael has consulted to Fortune 500 corporations undergoing major business transformations such as, Waste Management, Johnson & Johnson, U.S. Cellular, Tellabs, and SureTech. His projects involve redefining a business’ strategic directions, building effective leadership teams, developing change management and communication strategies, and leading Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives.
Michael has a BA in Complex Organizations and Industrial Sociology from the University of Maine, Orono, and an MA in Organizational Behavior and Industrial Sociology from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Michael has several advanced certifications in Organizational Change Management, Leadership Coaching, Supply Chain ERP implementations (SAP R/3 and PeopleSoft Financials 8.8-9.2), Leadership Judgment, Leadership Assessment and Human Resources (SPHR). Michael lives in Camden, Maine with his wife.
